Katie Hearsum has been writing about outdoor recreation, tourism and hospitality for 20 years. Katie's work has taken her on world-class adventures like horseback riding in Argentina, backpacking in Peru and kayaking in Vietnam, but her favorite place is still at home in the Rocky Mountains. Katie has a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the Grand County Community of Writers.
